Kennrick Avenue Park & Ride

This development features a three-story parking ramp with capacity for 750 vehicles and a thoughtfully designed plaza connecting the ramp to the adjacent bus transit station. As one of the initial ramps constructed under the Urban Partnership Agreement - a joint federal and state initiative focused on alleviating congestion in the Twin Cities - this project sets a benchmark for regional infrastructure improvement. The slab-on-grade section of the ramp incorporates an innovative test area utilizing Hycrete, a state-of-the-art waterproofing and corrosion inhibitor. This dedicated section will enable Metro Transit to evaluate advanced corrosion protection methods for parking structures in a controlled, low-risk setting, supporting continuous enhancement of facility durability and performance.
